This beautiful home is located in the desirable Regatta gated community in Puerto Morelos.  Regatta is a planned community with a beautiful park featuring a raised palapa area (perfect for yoga classes), playground and picnic areas, a gorgeous pool and separate kiddie pool.  The community is adjacent to the Crococun nature preserve, which is home to spider monkeys and brilliant peacocks who roam the area freely.  The neighborhood has two access points (both with round the clock security) – one off the federal highway, and the other on the Crococun access road which leads to the beach and intersects with the beach road leading to charming downtown Puerto Morelos.   Driving time to the beach is about 5 minutes, and less than 10 minutes to the town square.

This neighborhood has attracted a wonderful mix of Mexican, American, Canadian and European couples and families, with a large number of the homes occupied year round.  The neighbors are a friendly bunch, and can often be found out and about walking their dogs or enjoying the beautiful parks and pools.

Known as the hidden gem of the Mayan Riviera, Puerto Morelos delights with its wide, white beaches, vibrant town center, lively restaurant scene, charming shops and local artisan markets.  While it is just 20 minutes south of the Cancun International Airport and approximately 25 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, the vibe in Puerto Morelos is a million miles away from these tourist towns.
