Felices fiestas!

Christmas is here in Mexico! You can feel the excitement building as decorations go up and the traditional posadas (Christmas parties) begin.

It’s a wonderful time to be here in Puerto Morelos. I mean, it’s always nice to be here, but this time of year the weather is FANTASTIC and everyone is feeling generous and festive. It’s a special time.

We have our office decorated (fa la la!) and have a nice collection of donated toys around the tree. If you would like to donate a toy for the MexiCAN Compassion Project toy drive, please bring it by (and say hello!) and/or if you would like to make a monetary donation, you can find instructions here.

In other news, Moving to Mexico Monday is back! Our first session of the season will be Monday the 16th on the gorgeous La Sirena rooftop. (Actually the photo above is from the rooftop!) We meet from 5-6-ish and talk about buying/renting/moving/living in Puerto Morelos. It’s always a fun time and this year there are goodies for everyone who comes. (Ok, they are koozies, but they are cute and useful!) Hope to see you there!
