One of my favorite hobbies is browsing for decor ideas online in an attempt to turn my house into a cozy, welcoming space. I’m always on the lookout for those key pieces that tie everything together. And let’s be real—living in a hot, humid climate makes it extra tricky to find materials that actually hold up.
Sometimes I totally miss the mark… but other times, it’s a big win! Like this time. I’ll be honest—I saw the price on these sticky tiles and didn’t think it would be anything special.
But since it wasn’t a big investment and the reviews looked good, I gave it a shot… and I’m so glad I did.
Super happy with the result!
I can’t look at a blank space without seeing a canvas and wanting to do something with it. The wall under the breakfast bar? Perfect example...
Ever since I moved to Puerto Morelos, this charming little beach town, I discovered that you can fill your space with color without it feeling like too much.
It’s been such a vibe shift—it inspired me to turn my home into a dopamine-filled space that sparks creativity and joy every day.
So, in my quest to add some texture and color to a blank wall without spending too much, I found these sticky tiles (evidence attached of me installing them — plus my little helper doing his part)…
Excuse the mess—this is a very raw, real-life home situation. But hey, there’s nothing better than showing the real deal before the final result!

There are so many patterns and colors to choose from—whether you’re into ocean blues and greens, soft pinks and corals, or more earthy tones like deep greens and browns for that jungle vibe. You can even play around with different shapes to get the look you want! I personally loved the style I picked, and I can confidently say it passed the at-home quality check.
The instructions were super clear, and you don’t need much to install them. Since I didn’t use them on the floor (which is what they’re originally made for), I added a bit of cold silicone in the corners just to make sure they stayed in place—and it worked perfectly!

A few tips:
Make sure you’ve got cold silicone, a metal ruler, and a cutter ready—you might need them! And here’s a pro tip: a rubber hammer works wonders for giving gentle taps to help the adhesive stick better.
