Happy November, or what’s left of it!

It’s hard to believe that 2021 is drawing to a close and that Thanksgiving is upon us next week.

Although Thanksgiving isn’t a traditional Mexican holiday, most Americans and Canadians who live here (and visit here) still wish to gather with family and friends and celebrate our respective Thanksgiving days.

Just being able to celebrate in Puerto Morelos is something to be thankful for!

If you plan to celebrate Turkey Day in Puerto Morelos, but would rather lounge on the beach and sip cocktails than cook all day (like us!) here are some great dine-in options where you can find a traditional turkey dinner and all the fixings around town.

Are you trading turkey for fish tacos this year? No problem, most restaurants will be open and offering their normal menu on Thursday!

LOCAL TIP: Thanksgiving is a busy day around town though, so we suggest making reservations ASAP.

Please remember that the restaurants are still operating under COVID regulations; all health and safety rules are being followed – so if you plan to dine-in, please plan ahead with a reservation, and plan to arrive with your mask on.
